Dear Jozien, dear Bert,
we had a wonderful week in your house near Sluis this summer. There was plenty of space for our extended family with children from 2 to 25, their respective parents and a couple of grandparents – not only in the bedrooms, but in the living room as well. The highlight was the sunroom with a marvelous look at the beautiful garden! Protected from wind and rain (of which there was enough this summer) we sat in the middle of nature and enjoyed the rare sunbeams.
Our only suggestion for improvement: some of us would have liked a bit more privacy in the bathrooms and it would have been nice to have a bit more plates, spoons, forks and knives – as 12 pieces for 12 persons isn’t much.
But these are only small things: all in all we had very nice holidays in Kruisdijk 2 and you were really kind and attentive hosts. The location about 10 km from the sea and not far away from Brugge and Gent is great for different kinds of trips.
We would have liked to stay longer than only one week …
